HOW TO BECOME A POWERFUL SPEAKER

Setting boundaries in all areas of our life builds a success mindset and helps us to manifest what we truly desire

WE ARE A PRODUCT OF OUR BELIEFS

Our beliefs and behaviours around how we personally communicate are linked directly to our culture and how we were treated and trained in childhood. Everything you experienced growing up when you attempted to assert a boundary or ask for what you wanted has shaped who you are and how you manifest in the world.

Poor communication is the root cause of all struggles in relationships. Pure truth with heartfelt action in the living/present moment is the path of least resistance for the highest good of all.

HOW TO BE A POWERFUL SPEAKER

Speaking up powerfully in a grounded and compassionate way is one of the most universal challenges we face today.

Sadly, we stay in toxic relationships either at work, at home or socially because we feel unsafe to speak up. This harms your health and children’s development as they watch and learn from you.

To help you take steps to speak up more powerfully for yourself and advocate for your own needs, values, and wishes, begin with these five key steps to start creating positive change.

Step 1: TIME TRAVEL TO THE PAST AND EXAMINE WHAT YOU LEARNED IN CHILDHOOD

Notice how you feel when speaking up and Be with your feelings. Look within to see where they stem from. Maybe there was an incident where you felt shamed or humiliated. Or you were punished physically for speaking up.

Some questions you can ask yourself are:

  • Did your parents communicate in an empowered way?
  • How did people around you act when others spoke up for their rights or set healthy boundaries (including siblings, relatives, teachers, authority figures, etc.)
  • Did you experience aggression when you spoke your mind?
  • Did you feel guilty asking for what you wanted?
  • Did you feel unheard or not important?
  • Did you feel unworthy to ask because you were not good enough?
  • How did gender play into who had the power and authority in family and life?

Step 2: TRAIN YOUR BRAIN WITH POSITIVITY

Start training your brain by writing a positive opposite mantra to reverse the programming from your childhood issues. If you have always felt that you were not good enough and it wasn’t safe to speak up, your mantra could be

‘I AM SAFE TO SPEAK MY TRUTH, I AM MORE THAN ENOUGH’

Step 3: PUT A MELODY TO YOUR MANTRA AND SING IT

Most of us have experienced some suppression that dwells within the vastness of our subconscious. Singing is a natural and efficient way to consolidate new neuronal growth and make the process faster, enjoyable, and fun.

Step 4: GET CLEAR ON THE ISSUE AND WHAT YOU NEED TO SAY TO SET A HEALTHY BOUNDARY

Formulate the right words that feel comfortable for you to speak. Practice using a firm, clear and calm voice, and avoid filler words like um and uh. Speak at a moderate pace, and make eye contact (if possible) with the person you are speaking to. It is good to ‘sit’ with a straight back and breathe deeply and slowly, so if your legs turn to jelly, the chair supports you.

Step 5: PROJECT INTO THE QUANTUM FIELD YOUR MOST IDEAL OUTCOME

Avoid judging the other person, and be mindful not to focus on a negative outcome. Hold in your mind’s eye the expected positive outcome that is for the highest good of all. See a happy end result where you shake hands or hug. I have used this POWERFUL technique many times, and it always works.

HOW TO MAGNIFY THE LAW OF ATTRACTION

You are what you believe. We are all a product of our beliefs, and releasing limiting belief systems that sabotage your success in life is paramount for you to maintain a high vibration, which results in deep happiness and thriving health.

Make finding your voice a priority because it is essential to get really clear on who you want to be and what you want in life.

Start speaking as if you already are the next best version of yourself and have everything you need to thrive. The mirror neurons in your heart and brain continually coagulate your vision into the quantum field and eventually manifest in the physical.

When things start to change or show up in your life, you know you have shifted the belief that was blocking it.

The hardest part here is holding the FOCUS and believing you can do it because the ONLY THING standing in the way of creating what you want are limiting beliefs held in the subconscious that affect your vibrational frequency.

For example, using singing as a tool to self-regulate your emotions (instead of reaching for food, sugar, phones, drugs, alcohol, etc.) to lift you out of a funk, or get an obsessive mind focusing on something constructive, sets a very positive example to your children and teaches them life-long practical tools to deal with their emotions and navigate the ever-changing terrain.
