Sacred Sounds Retreat

NEW ZEALAND

A joyful, restorative four-day journey into the alchemy of your voice — where singing, connection and conscious creation open the door to deep transformation and lasting change.

October 4–8, 2026 · Mana Retreat Centre, New Zealand

Your voice is the key to unlocking everything.

Your confidence. Your creativity. Your power. Your reality.

And you are about to remember how to use it.

This Retreat Is For You If…

You know there’s more in you than you’ve been expressing.
More joy. More power. More truth. More voice.

You’re ready to stop holding back and start showing up fully as yourself.

You want to feel empowered in your body, clear in your mind, and free in your expression.

You’re ready to sharpen your intuition, trust your inner wisdom, and finally give yourself permission to be seen and heard.

No singing experience needed. No performance. Just a full body YES.

SINGING

Singing is woven through your entire day — from active morning circles in the Octagon Temple, to sounding in the sacred Sanctuary each afternoon, to gentle evening singing meditations that nurture the nervous system and feed the soul.

VOICE YOGA

Begin each morning with Voice Yoga — blending chi-gong and kundalini-inspired movement with the power of your voice. As you move, you’ll sound affirmational phrases that release what’s held in the body and set the tone for the day ahead.

SOUL SONGWRITING

Using conscious language and the power of the positive opposite, you’ll craft your own Personal Healing Mantra — a unique, soul-led creation that shifts limiting beliefs and becomes a tool you’ll use long after you leave.

NATURE & SANCTUARY

Each afternoon, walk through native bush to the sacred Sanctuary — a half-hour journey through breathtaking Coromandel landscape. At the top, experience the sacred labyrinth, soak in the epic views, and let the land hold and restore you.

Your Voice is the Frequency of your Soul

Freeing your voice is an act of pure liberation. Your signature tone carries your truth, purpose, and power into the world. When it's blocked by fear or self-doubt, your energy and spirit are suppressed. Reconnecting with your authentic sound realigns your body, mind, and soul — awakening your natural radiance. This isn't just about how you sing. It's about how you live.

The Magic of Conscious Language

The words you speak — and sing — carry frequency. They shape your nervous system, your emotional patterns, and how your mind interprets reality. Most of this happens unconsciously. But when you bring awareness to your language, disempowering patterns begin to shift — replaced with expressions that reflect what you truly want to create. Your words are not just words. They are spells.

Why I Created This…

I know what it feels like to have no voice.

Growing up, mine would lock up completely. Nothing would come out. I was too scared to speak, too scared to be seen — navigating childhood abuse, crippled by self-consciousness, fear of rejection and a deep belief that I simply wasn’t enough.

For decades I carried that. Through life’s greatest tests — some conscious, some not yet. Financial loss, raising children, starting over. Life invited me to grow in every way it could.

But somewhere in the middle of all of it, I found my voice. And when I did — everything changed. My health. My relationships. My sense of what was possible. My ability to set boundaries, trust my intuition and live from a place of genuine self-worth.

I am 63 this year. And I have spent more than 25 years refining everything I learned — through lived experience, through deep healing work, through energy, through sound — into something I can now teach.

I created Sacred Sounds because there is something extraordinary that happens when we come together in a space of connection, acceptance and open-hearted willingness to heal. The energy of a group amplifies everything. What feels impossible alone becomes inevitable together.

Your authentic voice is the key to everything. Without it, we are just kidding ourselves. With it — we are free.

And in these times of great change on our planet, freedom, joy and a life you truly love are not just possible.
They are your birthright.

A DAY IN THE RETREAT

Every day has its own rhythm — but this is the shape of it.
Everything is an invitation, never an obligation.

7:15am · Optional — but those who come rarely regret it.

Begin with Voice Yoga — kundalini and movement inspired breath, body and sound weaving together to open you up from the inside. Then gather for a nourishing breakfast at 8am before we move into the heart of the day.

9:30am · Octagon Temple

We sing. Beneath the soaring acoustics of the Octagon Temple, we come together in Sacred Singing Circles — original mantras, harmonies and uplifting songs that rewire the brain for joy and lift the spirit.

This is followed by Soul Songwriting and Word Magic — where you’ll craft your own Personal Healing Mantra using conscious language and the power of the positive opposite. A tool you’ll use long after you leave.

12 noon

A delicious, lovingly prepared vegetarian lunch served daily — where we gather, share and connect with like-hearted souls. Then the afternoon is yours to wander, rest and simply breathe.

2pm · Optional — rest at the retreat if you prefer

The afternoon adventure begins — conscious movement followed by a walk through native bush to the sacred labyrinth and Sanctuary. At the top, soak in the epic views, sing, sound, and simply be.

From 4pm the afternoon is entirely yours. Sink into the sauna, wander the grounds, rest in your room, or find a quiet spot with a view. This time is unstructured and unhurried — exactly as it should be.

Julia Williamson

Julia Williamson is a transformational voice coach, professional singer and creator of the Sing to Thrive Method — with 40+ years of singing and more than 25 years in the healing and wellness space. Her work sits at the intersection of voice activation, conscious language, neuroscience and energy work. She has a rare gift for seeing what’s really driving someone’s patterns — and helping them shift it at the root, quickly and joyfully.

Described by those in her community as a powerful and deeply intuitive healer, Julia brings a presence that makes people feel completely held — safe enough to open, brave enough to transform. Because in Julia’s world, healing doesn’t have to be heavy. It can be soulful, joyful and profound — all at once.

Angela Bambach

Margot Goslett

Margot brings years of experience in movement, alignment, and energy work, blending meditation, crystal bowl sound, and gentle practices to support deep reconnection with the body.

“I have no words to express my gratitude for what having regular Dialogues have meant to me. Ange always provided a safe and loving place, helping me hear my thoughts back and, through her simple questions, choose what I wanted to do with my fear, worry, and feelings. Becoming aware of my patterns made it easier to let go, focus on achievements, and feel gratitude for what I have. I feel so much more confident in myself — my life has changed completely!!”

What if I can’t sing?
No experience is needed — everyone is welcome! This retreat is about vibration, resonance, and connection, not perfection. Many people arrive believing they “can’t sing,” yet those beliefs are simply energetic blocks that have silenced the voice. Through gentle guidance, sound healing, and joyful group singing, those blocks begin to dissolve — and by the time you leave, your voice (and confidence) will feel open, free, and alive. If you’re willing to explore your sound and add your unique vibration to the group harmonics, you’re already in the right place.

Yes — all meals are included and lovingly prepared to nourish body and soul. You’ll enjoy delicious, wholesome vegetarian cuisine that’s gluten-free, vibrant, and deeply nurturing. Each meal is crafted with care using fresh, local ingredients to support your wellbeing and keep your energy high throughout the retreat. Expect food that’s as healing and heart-opening as the sacred sounds themselves.

Only the kind that soothes your soul. Our retreat includes gentle bush walks through the breathtaking landscapes surrounding the retreat centre, along with time to walk the labyrinth — a meditative, slow-paced journey shown to calm the nervous system, support mindfulness, and integrate emotional and energetic shifts. These simple, rhythmic movements help settle the mind and bring the body into coherence. The rest of your journey unfolds through singing, vocal toning, and sound healing sessions designed to restore balance, awaken your energy, and activate your authentic voice. It’s gentle movement for the body, music for the soul, and renewal for your entire being.

Bring comfortable clothing for movement and relaxation, along with good walking shoes for bush walks and exploring the grounds. A water bottle is helpful to stay hydrated during the day.

You may also like to bring swimmers if you feel called for a refreshing dip at one of the nearby Coromandel beaches such as Hahei Beach or Hot Water Beach.

Most importantly, bring anything that helps you feel comfortable, supported, and at ease — this is your time to soften, rest, and reconnect.

"Julia encourages everyone to use their voice with confidence, and there is no judgement or competition. The singing of spiritual songs and positive mantas is amazingly powerful and healing. I also enjoyed the diversity of the workshop, which also included song-writing and use of star-sign notes and colours. It was a joyous and liberating experience, and I came away feeling uplifted and calm. I absolutely recommend this workshop for anyone looking to nourish themselves and experience a sense of freedom and liberation."
Gail Rast
“Through these Dialogues I was able to see more clearly than ever before how I had been holding a lot of guilt around certain issues in my life, and that I have the ‘option’ to let it go. Ange Bambach’s gentle and intuitive approach made the process feel safe and contained, whilst being unexpectedly transformative. The experience has been deeply enlightening and valuable in my life. It’s simple, but if you’re willing to look at the root cause, it’s a powerful tool for positive change.”

"OMG… amazing singing session today, Julia. Your vibrant, energetic singing circle and beautiful, rich vocal tones helped me feel the fear and sing anyway. You created such a safe space to face myself, step forward, and realise I need to learn to love myself more. Thank you — truly powerful work."
